Living Benefit

Living benefits are like death benefits, but you do not need to die to receive them.

For example, you get cancer and a tumor is removed and you get chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Most of the time our insurance does not cover all of our expenses. We lose pay, we seek out special treatment, we sometimes need extra care and other related expenses.

When things like this happen in our lives we need money and in most cases your health insurance doesn’t cover all of the expenses. You will be able to accelerate up to 80% of your death benefit to cover these expenses on qualified events. In the past you had to purchase a separate critical illness policy to have that type of protection- this is included at no cost with your account.
